Kris has been working with his hands ever since he was a small child. He has grown up to be a self professed ' wood nerd ' , and a true maker. He is a stickler for detail, and incredibly passionate about quality.
Besides building homes he likes to build guitars and craft his own clothing.

Hansenbuilt is a full service firm made up of two companies, Hansenbuilt Design and Hansenbuilt Construction. They are based in Victoria BC and co-founded by Kris Hansen and Sarah Donald. These two share a passion for quality materials and products that spill over into every project they do. With their incredibly skilled teams, they create spaces that function like no other and make you feel like you never want to leave.
